The national grape of Uruguay, Tannat was just recently introduced to the United States. 2010 was our first year working with this delicious and unique grape, and we are looking forward to more! Noted for its deep color and thick tannic structure, our Tannat is full-bodied, oaky and rich. Enjoy this wine with grilled red meat, pungent cheeses or dark chocolate. Our in-house chef Tamara Frey created a recipe for it.
